Took this shot last weekend, the Coots and most other birds are at that stage of the year again.
The male (left) is trying to get a grip of the female (right).
It was quite fascinating watching the antics, the male would catch up with the female, she would dive under the water and re appear about 20 feet away from him.
It didn't stop him trying thou.

This is the famale getting a bit of piece away from the chasing haud.

Both images shot at ISO400 so some noise is visable.
