The Hawk Conservancy, Andover, Hampshire

Had a trip to THC today (as it didn't rain for a change!) - Quite impressed with the layout although too many shots have to be taken through fences / chain-link etc & its hard not to get people in the shots - Good flying demos through the day too (never seen SIX vultures flying around together before :eek:) - Managed to find a few keepers (sorry) ... Paul ;)

There are some nice shots there Paul!
Are your sure that's a lanner and not a Pere x Lanner? not important, though shame about the telemetry ariel out the back though

Hi Chris - I'm pretty sure you'd know a lot better than I would about the Lanner & yes I did spot the wire but its nice to know what it is thank you :embarrassed:

jonnyreb - I mentioned this place at our Meet but didn't want to recommend it without seeing it - Yes I would go again / recommend it & as I said before they do Photography Days for about £100 :eek: details on their website www.hawk-conservancy.org/ - only just over 1/2hr from J4 @ Frimley btw

All of them are lovely shots, but I particularly like the secretary bird, it looks like a great place to visit.

Thank you for your kind comments :thumbs: - They looked much better in Capture but I thought I make the effort to resize them for the forum rather than link to the smaller "Medium Size" I usually link to in Flickr (the Vulture (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/150/406922515_f01108ec1e_b.jpg)looks particularly good in Large or Original there - and yes Min it is ugly :eek:)
