There's been a distinct lack of Robins recently, what with all these cutesy mammals getting their fluffy bits in the way, so here's a few from me salvaged from a near disaster day out a few weeks ago. I managed to shoot most of the day with the exposure compensation set way up so all my shots came out rather dark. I must have been dopey to think I was getting such good shutter speeds :bonk: :bonk:

Good old Photoshop managed to scrape a few decent ones out of the mire

Hopefully I can get a few more pics on here soon as I've got myself a 120-300 and need a free weekend to go and play with it!

The full robin shot is super sharp but is heavily cropped to fit on the boards. The little chap was singing happily away about 3 feet from me!

Both superb, but I think the Heron "has it", just.

So who catches Robins and puts rings on them?

Generally the RSPB and it's volunteers...
