Went for a trip to Chester Zoo today, the weather was cool but quite bright at times. Met up with a few TPF members and had an entertaining day out. I will have to go back as it is a great place to visit:thumbs:

Some really great shots there Steve,

Thats an amazing shot of the tiger, first time there and you manage to pull that off ;) Been there 8 times since July and never had a single one I've been happy with - too hard to catch them :)

Lioness looks lovely too.

Glad you had a good time, just sorry I had to pull out at the last minute.

Cheers, the Tiger shot was my favourite from the day, it was a little fortunate that it was feeding time and this one lay down to eat just near the glass observation area, and the sun came out.
Matt, we missed you.
It may be worth organising another meet there later in the year, I would certainly be interested, it is a great zoo.

That elephant shot definately turned out as you'd hoped! Great set of shots but that last one is excellent. :clap:

Cheers Mike, it was certainly interesting chatting with you and the others, I picked up a few tips and ideas from you all.
The most important tip is NEVER ask me to use your camera to photograph you and your mates, the consequences are horrendous.:gag:

The tiger and the elephant shots are marvelous, but the elephant just nicks it for me, I'm glad that you had a great time.

Lovely shots Steve, the Tiger shot is really good, but the Elephant shot is superb mate, great timing.
