Went to the Malcolm Wilson Rally in the Lake District today.
And the sun had its hat on ! :eek: :lol:

I've just got back from Cockermouth where it finished. Paul Bird - the 1st pic was the overall winner :) - good to see a local lad do well. As they finished the heavens opened and my camera got drowned.

I might post some pics of the finish tomorrow :)

Excellent shots. I was down at Grizedale this afternoon watching and taking some pics. Please can you give me any tips? Mine are quite poor i think.

I think the white balance might be to pot.

Used a Nikon D50 with Sigma 70-300 lense. f4.5 and shutter speed of 1/500

Kosta:If you want to capture movement then your shutter speed is too fast.
You need about 100th or less and you have to learn to pan ... there's a knack to it.

I was at the Greystoke stage for stages 1 and 4, it was the first time I had been there.

I used Auto White Balance all day and shutter speeds from 1/125 - 1/250 sec with fill-in flash.
