Lions and Tigers and Bears... Ok well I only have the lions because the bears were not out and the tigers were camera shy.

This is the first time I've ever shot through fence like this and I think these turned out ok. But the first 15 or so I shot I forgot to check my aperture and it was at f22 so you could see the fence clear as day, needless to say I went back to reshoot. The light was coming in very strong from the left of the pic and I had a hard time not blowing highlights. I had to underexpose and then do a fair bit of PP to get the colours correct. How'd I do?

This would really work better if they took some kind of direction!

I'd say you did well. Very difficult with that strong sun.

The fence posts behind and foreground edge in the second one make it look rotated to me.

Both shots make me feel sleepy though :)

Veyr nice! Would a quick sharpen help them a bit though?

That is sharpened... I don't have a monopod or a tripod and shooting at 200mm I was a bit shaky. Also you are elbow to elbow with people and you get bumped... those are my excuses and I'm sticking to them.

Did you sharpen after resizing?

Ive opened the first one in PS, and applied about 60% USM, and it looks better. :)

No that I didn't do... Don't normally do that. Thanks for the heads up I'll give it a try.

These are good shots just looking a bit soft. As Joe says you should always sharpen after down-sizing. :)
