Hi folks !

Thought I would say hello, and give you a bit of background,
First of all, thanks to CT for pointing me in this direction, over the years he has armed me with the basic rules of photography,
and with any luck, and hopefully the help of this site, I will learn much more as time gose on.
I am looking forward to getting out there and making an effort to take shots of things that I would'nt normally take !
I have been looking at some of the galleries, and they have got me thinking about new ideas and projects.
I have a few pics that I find pleasing, but I don't yet know if they could be called Good Photos

My weapon of choice is a Nikon coolpix 5000, although I do keep looking on ebay at SLR's :)

Just a quick nod to the admins, the board looks good, well though out.

I can only echo what EosD has said about your kind coment and add my warm welcome to you. Although the site may look pretty it is only useful if people gain photography skill and learn from their time here. Hopefully you will make full use of all the knowledge and advice that is freely shared here. If not you are very welcome just to hang around and have fun :)
