Hello all
I was wondering if any one could help i have a Nikon D80 and i am after a portrait len's , I am a bit new to this so any advice or help would be great .

If you've got a kit lens, then using that around 50mm is just about perfect. Sorted :thumbs:
If portraiture is really your thing, then the nifty-fifty, ie 50mm f/1.8 lens is a good idea. They are cheap, sharp, and good for portraits as you can use f/1.8 which gives very shallow depth of field and is a great portrait technique.
