The band I often photo had an EP launch on Friday. They had some new tunes too which really rocked.

Excellent work, third shot down does it for me, encapsulates the best of a band. An ex of mine was a photographer for Kerrang and a few others... bit too imaginitive for the editors at times
cheers,

Nice work!!! In difficult lighting conditions such as this you have done a very good job. People tend not to appreciate how difficult it is to get good shots of performers on stage until they try it themselves.
I really like no 3 - shows they're game for a laugh, but enjoy their work... that really makes a difference with rock music, especially live bands.
I also like the guitarist backlit by purple - that shouts to be used as the sleeve back to me, with the track listing down the LHS. It would work even better IMO if you have cropped this pic, but have room to spare on the left in the original.
:)
Thanks guys :) I was a little worried about them, but I'm glad my 50mm did a good job :D
