View Full Version : Robbing B*st*ds
IO've just recieved an invoice from Parcel Foce requesting VAT fees on a vertical grip I ordered from Malaysia. £3.31 which was better than expected as there's no charge for import duty (guess there's a threshold) but £8 for handling charges. Cheeky Mo Fo's. I thought you were supposed to be able to pay HMR&C directly or am I dillusional?
It's a bitch but you're going to have to bite the bullet and pay them. The post office are allowed to add a handling fee to any charges you incur. Personally I think they should charge the customs this fee since it's them they are working for.
But hey there's a bright side Kev, my grip arrived today from China with no charges due :D
Basically, parcelfarce have presented the item to customs for you, and that's what you're paying them for, the £8 is their administration costs for doing so.
Cheeky oiks, I know.
