After only owning my DSLR for about 8 months I have been published on the back page of the local paper. I have been concentrating on my football photography and got in contact with the paper and asked if they would like to see my photos and this week they have published one with the match report! Yay!
Congrats.
That's the tell bit, where's the show?

I've forgotten how it feels:(
I did a photo essay series for the Hexham Courant back in the mid eighties, on the steam trains of the South Tyndale Railway, in black and white. I think I may still have one of the copies.
Thousands have seen my work as a forensic photographer over the years, and quite a few have been published in 'dry professional tomes', but it's not everyone who likes to see photographs of car crashes and dead bodies!
I did some work on the Lockerbie 747 crash, but during the enquiry, all my pics were classified, and the negatives 'seized'!

CSI has glamorised the forensics photographer stuff, I wouldn't mind doing that if I'm honest, although I don't know how I would fare around the bodies, its bad enough on real life documentaries.
well done steveo :)
I'll get there myself one day
