Dunno, but if you give Jessops in Glasgow (0845 458 7114) a quick call they have a load of compacts (can't remember which makes/models) that'll be going out at sale prices and could probably still get one down to you in time

Maybe a little late, but the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62 recently got a Recommended award at Trusted Reviews for £100:

I haven't used that particular model, but I've had a Panasonic LX1 for the past 3.5 years and had no problems with it, very nice camera to use and great quality.

I have a Lumix FS5 and its superb, it was about £140 in currys but I got it for £100 as there was a tiny scratch on it!

Hi,

If you have not bought one already, please don't buy the Nikon S200/S225.

I won a Nikon S225 in a Jessops prize draw and received it a couple of days ago, it does not have any sort of battery life indicator, seems a crazy omission.

How about Samsung PL50 if still availible in Currys.
80 pounds and not bad as a compact.
