anomymous postings..?

has anyone ever thought of having a forum or certain day. when people could post pictures without there username being shown . so in effect you have a anomymous posting so that any comments on that particular picture are unbiased in any way. not that anyone on here would be bias but it would be interesting to see what people thought of pictures that they dont know who took them .just a thought if it has been said before sorry ,, :geek:

i was aware of that young man but i thought something on a more regular basis would give everyone a chance .not all of the 2000 members enter the monthly comps .:bonk:

Yeh, I think it could work quite well. I sometimes wonder whether the more established "forum regulars" get a lot more response to their photos, or whether the stuff I post just plain sucks!

Either way, it would be quite interesting to see - it might encourage people to post more!

Id be up for this... sounds like fun.
Think it would work so long as the peeps who post are genuinely prepared to take any critique on the chin ... as I think being anomymous might encourage peeps to be a little more 'upfront' with their comments!

Not a bad idea.

We can actually turn on guest posting. We have it turned off by default for obvious reasons. Trolls and security being just two.

I'll have a look into whether it can be turned on for, say, just one forum, and we can have an 'anonymous day' or something like that :)

Yep, I'll go with this. I don't post pics very often this idea would probally change that. I don't think I'd remain anomynous for long though as ALL my pics need critique and you'd soon figure out my 'style'. :lol:
