This is multiple choice, so you may vote for as many or as few images that you like, but they have to chosen in one go, you CANNOT come back and vote for more at a later date.

So many truly stunning entries this month, I have three favourites that are all so different from each other.
Jenny's Owl is stunning
Holderbeam, that image is amazing, shame its not slightly larger
CanonTogger simply beautiful scene
I also love the entry by Zingylemonade and the last entry too by D2xs - its beautiful, oh and the sumatran tiger by Scorg.
I think I have voted for a record number of images this month. There were some real beauties.

Phew - that's the 2009 competition over with then. Not only have I managed to enter every month, I've even managed to pick up some votes every month (thanks to whoever voted for me this time - was sure I didn't have a hope in hell against some of the shots).
That's me being a very happy bunny.
Only thing left now is to wrap up the leaderboard for the Overall 2009 now, and I can relax :)

Some awesome entries this month, I can't wait to get back into it, started out last year with the best intentions but a few months in and I was really struggling. Ah well, bring on POTY 2010 :nuts:

Marie, this is a bit off topic, but is your December entry the same as the one published in the Daily Telegraph today? It is a beautiful shot. I wish I lived in such beautiful surroundings!

I certainly didnt enter this shot, but I did have a similar shot in the telegraph months ago.

I had another look and yes, it is a slightly different picture. This feature was a round-up of the best "Big Pictures" for 2009.

I've topped 50 votes for the whole of last year so far, so I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU! to everyone who made me happy. I only managed to enter 11 rounds last year. This year I will not chicken out of a theme ...
Plus, big thanks and :notworthy: to TheBigYin for keeping count for what started out as a difficult year.

Well - I see my reasonable score in November was just a one-off then :lol: Thanks to the three people who did vote for me btw... at least I can say i've entered and scored every month. Doesn't look like i'm even going to be starting the 2010 comp. however, so I may as well enjoy the last few days of this one.
Glad to hear that the leaderboard thing has been useful, I may not be able to use a camera, but at least I know one end of a spreadsheet from another :lol: Just happy to have been able to contribute to this place and put something back in for all the good advice i've been given by everyone.

Thanks Angi :) I believe that is the closest the comp has ever been overall! Utter props and congrats to you as well! It's a slightly hollow victory in a sense, because I honestly believed you'd win. you really did enter some flawless work this year, so again, massive respect to you. :)

Well done everyone :clap::clap: been a great year and such a close finish at the end aswell. Congrats to Angi for winning this months, really great photo that clearly appealed to a lot of people, me included. Hats off to Woodsy also, some very impressive months coming out of that camp too :thumbs: Personally im chuffed with 4th, thought 3rd was on the cards but Marie bet me hands down this month :razz: ;) , its been exactly two years since I got my first camera so really pleased with the results so far. i think been honest im going to take a year from POTY and have another crack in 2011. A big thanks as everyone should be to the BigYin for sorting this out every month :love: done us all proud. Best of luck to everyone this year...
