fx iso in dx mode

say you drop a d3/d700 etc into dx mode do you still retain the high iso capabilities at the cropped resolution i presume?

Yes, but you only get ~5 MP frame crop. That is too limiting in itself.

mind you i suppose 5mp isn't completely awful :)
