Hi, recently updated to 40D and want to put the 6.5fps burst into practice, is there a minimum speed card that I will need to be able to cope with this.

I was looking at the Lexar Professional 8GB, 233x speed which seems good value at £25.49 from Amazon.

Also, how do I compare ths 233x speed to for example, a Sandisk 30MBS speed?

TIA

Hi

I've the Sandisk Extreme III cards for my 40D and they are more then fast enough - I've not yet buffered the camera on high speed continuous shooting. The Lexar cards are very good cards as well, so don't think you'd have any problems with them

i had a look at this a while back, sandisk extreme III 4gb for me seemed to be the combination of speed, price and quality currently available.
