With the prospect of good weather this weekend, I decided to make the trip over to Brands Hatch on Saturday for the first BMCRC/MRO round this season. I took a friend with me too, more on that here (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=218103&postcount=117) though ;)

Having never been to a BEMSEE event I was surprised at both the size and quality of the grids, a very big improvement on some club level meetings I've been to.

Anyhow, I came away with a fair number that I was happy with. Rather more than I'd have liked found there way to the recycle bin though... damned shiny fencing!

Here's a selection (exif should be intact, for those that are interested) ....

Thanks for looking. As ever, all C&C is very much appreciated.

I'm no bike fan but I'm impressed with the angle you have on #3. do they come that close or is this from a bridge or something?

On my monitor the levels look maybe just a touch dark on these shots - not much just slightly.

Thanks Robert.

#3 is from the inside of a hairpin (Druids). You're about 10-15ft from the bike as they lay it down on the apex.

Terrific pictures, there's some brave people on those older machines! I've got wider tyres on my Aprilia!

Image #3 is a cracking shot.

Just for info, Feisty Racing (http://www.bikegirl.co.uk/ladies/feistyracing.html)is an all-girl team, looks like that was the Team Manager Susie Grayson racing.

Real nice pics

The first one does it more for me and then the last, i think the wide bars keep drawing me back there ;)

Yes, I've seen them about before... the bike certainly stands out with that colour scheme! :D

Lovely shots, captured well. Would be interested to see if tighter crops on shots 1, 4 and 6 would have worked better though.

Lovely panning, but I agree with Robert about the darkness.

Biased slightly due to being a bike fan over a car fan... but, excellent shots! Image 3 is cracking.
