I've just got a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 EX DG MACRO for a very good price from ebay. It seems a really good lens, but I wondered if anyone has a copy of the "manual" that probably comes with it.
Anyone got one they might be able to scan :)
Also how do you like your lens?
Thanks
Allan
I have....BUT, it's in a box in a box, probably in another box, in a hamper, in our "loft" (a rather deep cupboard above the wardrobe in our spare room - as near as you can get to a loft in a ground floor flat!)
The most important thing you need to know ios that when using the lens in MF you MUST put the collar in the relevant position as well as the switch on the lens. Vice Versa when using AF. Otherwise apparently you can damage the internal gizmos. If you're stuck for the manual let me know and I'll get the other half to dig the box out.
As for how do I like it - it's hardly left the camera since I got mine - sharp as a tack and, for me at least, a really good "walkabout" lens. :) Happy camper here!

So its really easy to get to then Witch ;)
Thanks for the advice.
Anyone gone one a bit closer to hand.
LOL - Oh yes! Not impossible though - if no-one else has come up with a copy by tomorrow give me a nudge via PM and I'll dig it out and scan it for you.
