Digital Camera Magazine April P96 - "ask the team" section. I forgot that I had sent the photo in a few weeks ago, I was flicking through the magazine on Sunday and almost fell off my chair, it's a double page spread!

Not too critical either...

I *THOUGHT* I recognised it.

I was lazing in bed on Saturday morning, when my subscription copy plonked on my doormat and my daughter brought it up to me with a cup of tea :D

I was browsing through and I had an inkling I recognised it....This confirms it!

 Congratulations mate, I bet you're quite chuffed :D

Thanks Guys. Kev, I'm sure I read one of your posts a few months ago when you were going to switch to the dark side...

Looking forward to the new Sonys....

Every now and again I'm tempted Pete but the simple truth is I can barely afford to upgrade what I've got at the minute never mind start again. Luckily I've got one of the jessops insurance policies so I might get clumsy when the new models come out.

Truth is I've still got more to learn thana new camera would do for me. It'll be nice to have an upgrade path though.

How are you doing with the 7D?

Well done you  I thought the name was familiar and sort of recognised the picture - wondered if it belonged to anyone on here.

I love it - I bought it for the manual controls and antishake but have been surprised by the availabilty of quality lenses at good prices. I've built a collection of fast lenses between 17mm and 210 mm including a 90mm Macro and a 50mm prime and have never paid much more than £150 for a lens.
