View Full Version : How do you get a lens calibrated?
Please? sorry for ignorance. I have a 24-70L 2.8 and I swear it's not right. I've seen better out of my cheapy 28-105.. Do I simply send it to Canon? Will this fix it? the images coming out of it are soft. Anyone know the cost? Does it matter if I bought it off a very well known seller on ebay, rather than from a proper shop such as Jessops?
Welcome to the forums.
Have a look here for a test chart so you can check it

and some general focus problem stuff here

You will find plenty more threads is you search for things like focus problem.
This thread should be in a different section so I hope you find it again if it gets moved :)
No problem I'll move it to the equipment section, with a redirect so the thread starter can easily find it again.

Take it to Lehmanns in Stoke on Trent if your NW based and they'll do it. If it's less than 12 months old, you'll probably not be charged.
If your not NW based, see above!!!!!
