Hi,
Does anyone know what the maximum size CF card my Canon 20D can accept. I have read somewhere that it is 2GB, but was hoping it could be larger.
Thanks
Mark
Don't think there is a limit. I'm fairly sure it uses FAT32 the same as hard drives so there is a limit but it is huge compared to the current CF capacities.
4Gb is fine for certain btw.
Currently using a 4G card in mine (388 RAW+jpg on one card, 2x as much as on a 2G one).. so thats the 2G idea dead and burried.
Got a non speedy 4G one for £18 from 7dayshop.
Treat yourself.

Cheers for the replies, thats good then i can get a 4GB card and take some more pics now, lol
I can kind of confirm that the 20D will take anything you can throw at it... I accidently stuck my 16gb CF card into my old Ixus V3 digital this evening and it took it... the display said I had space for 9999 shots... :) So if such an old Canon camera can use big cards im more than confident the 20D will handle it.

Just make sure your 20D is at the latest firmware patch, mine didn't accept my Lexar 2Gb card until this latest patch was installed.
