Couple of weeks ago saw me trundling round some local woods keeping out the way of some old, but highly entertaining rally cars. I'm really getting into rally photography and it was this day that pushed me over that last hurdle that tells me the 120-300mm is no longer the right lens for me.

I found I needed to be able to move and change position quickly - but I couldn't with the sigmabeast. anyway - on with some photos

20D, Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 or Toki 12-24mm F4. I may even have used the old 28-105 USM!

Thanks for your coments guys

Tom, have a look at these sites
http://www.robinhoodforeststages.co.uk/ Mainly historis with some moderns. Usually early season

http://www.dukeries-rally.co.uk/ - Dukeries Rally - mid year

http://www.premier-rally.co.uk/ - later in the year

I think they are all done (at least the last two anyway) in association with the dukeries motor club

Good luck - maybe see you at the next one!

Great shots and thanks for the info. I see so many rally shots and wonder how people find out these events are on. I google all the time but never find anything.

Thanks Again.
