Very well captured action shots, nice n sharp and very colourful. Oh, and the guy in #2 has some nice abs :naughty:

What camera and lens was used here?

From the EXIF in the photos


Camera Model = Canon EOS-1D Mark II
Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 35/10 = F3.50
Focal Length = 400/1 mm = 400.00 mm

Thanks very much for the positive comments folks. As per Paul's post above, I can confirm that these were shot with EOS 1D MkII + 400mm f/2.8L (except the fan shot which was with a 17-40mm).

The action shots were taken from a sitting position, perched on my Peli case.

I really like 6 and the fan shot. Did you use a spot of flash with the fan shot? Great colours and sharpness in them all, their not over done at all, just right :)
