My view from my work place on Friday afternoon last... ;)

A small snippet (hopefully) of the abandoned wilds of Dungeness beach... a remarkably bleak and battered place, luckily, swathed in gorgeous evening sunshine when I passed by. ...I'm going back next week and plan to try and capture that bleak and boat grave yard feel to the place.

Hopefully you can feel a little of that in these shots? What do you all think guys?

Couldn't quite get the look a wanted on this one (similar to the last two) so I went for a conversion to B&W.

I _DO_ like the 2nd one :)
1st is pretty good, but a little too grainy/contrasty for my tastes.

The second one is superb, I like the slightly desaturated processing, it suits the shot very well.

I think if I lived near there I'd never be away from the place. Great shots m8.

Nice set - and I agree with most here that no. 2 is the winner - I love the colours and tones!

Thanks for the comments everyone. :)

I've gone off the first a little myself, looks ok larger I think but dirty at this size as suggested. So had another go this morning from a different angle and managed to get nearer to the look I wanted and a darker sky… it is, more appealing now I think. What do you recon..?

Loving #2 .... might sound daft but my first thoughts were that it had a sort of 'view from underwater' feel to it.

I also love the 2nd version of #1 & look forward to seeing what you come up with from your next visit.
