A guy in my village is a coachbuilder and has spent most of life making horseboxes but he has now branched out into converting buses and minibuses He asked me to photograph a couple of projects that he has completed for website use, unfortunately I could only shoot them at about 4.30pm yesterday afternoon so the weather was murky and very dull.

All were shot with the Sigma 10-20mm due to the narrow width and I was using small apertures on a lot of them to get the starburst effects from the spotlights which meant exposures of up to 20s.

The first one is of a bus he has converted for a charity in Harlow, I was really impressed with the workmanship and the quality of the build:

The second project was a minibus that he converted for Coventry Council, this was a much tighter workspace and it was a struggle to show it off at its best...

I agree about the workmanship - both the coachbuilders, and yours.

Nice series. Given the brief, it's difficult to see how they could be improved.

Love the shots. I need to take some better indoor shots to advertise a villa and I reckon I'll have to invest in that Sigma lens...
