taken with my k10d = sigma 70-300mm apo, anyone have any thoughts on wether its worth putting a sigma 1.4 converter with this lens or would i be better of going for a 135-400, advice appreciated.

Nice shots Elvis ... :thumbs: ... the Song Thrush shows off the chest markings beautifully ... ;)

The Female Sparrow is actually a Dunnock/Hedge Sparrow/Hedge Accentor or whatever else you might want to call it ... :D

Cannot help with your question but can tell you your Sparrow is a Dunnock.
Sparrow among other things has a much heavier beak as it is a seed eater.
