Hello All
CT done some whoring and I found myself here :)
I've recently taken an interest in Photography. Got me a Canon 300D and starting to learn the basics of photography, rather than just point and shoot!)
If anyone can point me in the direction of some good basic tutorials, ie how to use Aperture, depth of field, shutter speeds etc, that would be cool, I am getting the hang of some things :)
Hi Ian. Glad you could make it. I didn't realise you had a 300D!
This thread should give you a good idea about shutter speeds and apertures if you read it through.

Hi everyone
I'm another thats been pointed this way by CT.
Had a few digital compacts in the past, but recently jumped to the Canon 20D and the canon 100-400mm L. Just need to join a gym to be able to carry all the stuff :D

Welcome to both of you gents, as CT has already probably said we are here to help so if you have any questions please post them in the correct sections of the forums and our many and varied members will do their best to help out :)
As far as moderator selection goes, that’s it for now and should any vacancies arise in the future they will be filled by strict invitation only :D

Hi buddy, welcome felloe 5-0er. Another friendly face. Nice to see you mate.
Hi Folks,
Another followed the lead from one money pit to another.
Like many folks here, I do sometimes use a digi SLR but more often I can be found behind something a little slower.
So how many of you people are using big cameras or dare I say it............ Film
D :D
Hiya mate! :D
I don't think you'll find too many big format users here, Pook might be one sometimes - check out his gallery, but we do have a few who haven't made the switch to digital yet and some who still use both, mainly 35mm though I suspect.

 Hello All ,I am getting A Cannon D350(RebelXT).Would like to know if anyone used this camera and what they think about it?This will be my first Digital Camera. Thanks Sean
Sean which one are you getting and do you live in the UK? I ask because the RebelXT is the U.S. version and will not have a UK guarantee. However if you buy it from somewhere like 7dayshop they guarantee it themselves.
