View Full Version : Some random wildlife shots.
So many files, so little time :p
Have been sorting through a few of my images & thought I'd see what everyone thought, I know the style of the first is completely different to the other two but it is taken with my new lens & I feel that this will be the direction I'll be following a little more with my wildlife work.
C&C is more than welcome.

I love all three of them.
My favorite is the Red Panda, you were right when you told me it was just "one of those shots where you know its great".
Awesome mate, awesome :)

Really nice...all of them....but really love the Red panda!
The Flamingo for me. Stands out from the backgroung well & the colour in that beak is something else.
Thanks for the comments everyone - I prefer the flamingo out of the three of them (just looks a bit scary though IMO!). Background was converted to black with a levels adjustment rather than extracting/masking - I had no idea this was possible until I read one of Janice's posts about making the background lighter with levels & the eyedropper (thanks Janice & everyone that contributed to that post, it really gave me some new ideas.)

Thanks Lady :)
Nice to see that lens has gone to good use Mike..
Cheers Trev,
Have definately reconsidered my original idea of sending the lens in for calibration! The flamingo is a 100% crop & I am made up with the results.
Cheers again mate, I owe you a pint sometime

At least I've got an excuse with Matt living so far away - seem to be more & more people from the Wirral joining all of the time :)
I'm still learning but the Flamingo for me all great shots,
