Hi Guys,
Does anybody use AA Rechargeable Batteries for there flashguns ?
If so, what are the best batteries on the market at the moment ?
Thanks,
Paul
I got a set of 12 encore 2500's on ebay a while ago, last for ages in the 580EX. Allegedly thery're the same as the uniross ones

I use 2800's from ebay.
Not used the 580 much to see how long they last yet.
I use Energizer 2500s in my SB-600, last ages, can charge the flash up silly fast and cost me a tenner for four batteries and a charger :)

I use uniross 2700 for my sb 600 as divine_madness says lasts a long time and quick to charge the flash

Avoid Hahnel AAs like the plague - I had some for another camera and they lasted about two months before refusing to charge
I've got a bunch of Kodak NiMHs (not sure of the mA rating) and they work a treat.
7DayShop 2700s in mine, got two sets and they last forever.

Get Uniross of any mAh rating, they really never die!!
In case anyone is interested Lidl have packs of 4 Tronic 2500mah for £1.99 just now.

Thanks for the tip-off unclerichy!!
Anyone else had this problem? As I've some hanhels 2300 mha ones and I'm noticing that their not holding their charge well! :(
I've got a real mixture of AA rechargeables and I just use whatever's handy in the flashgun, although I always use four of the same brand. They seem to last for yonks. :)
