Beverley and I to Wellington Country Park today with my kids, Lauren and Sean and, of course, the cameras ;)

Lauren, who has been showing a real interest in photography recently, kept asking if she could have a go with my camera. Eventually and reluctantly I handed it over :suspect: .............I just wish I had managed to capture the look of delight on her face just after I took this shot and she had taken hers :)

I can see some expensive birthdays on the horizon :suspect: :)

Yep, what do you expect... She's a girl. And you'll have to buy her an DSLR and some lenses too.

And some people complain about the weight of Canon lenses... a girly can hold em :D

Great! My son loves the camera but at 3 it'll be a while before I hand over an L lens (I have to own one first). Well I always say kids should have a hobby to keep them outa trouble.

She can always pay you back when she's a pro,...

But for gods sake buy her a Nikon, she'll be happier. ;)

Well, i always said the 350d/400d's were for kids :p You see, it even looks to be the right size! (ignoring the lens of course :D). Now, give her the toy camera, and get yourself a proper one.

Nice shot Grendel - looks like there's some expensive birthdays coming.

Still, it'll be nice if you two have a hobby to share! :D
