Do you think it works? I'm going for the whole "its a world in nature thing" hence "The Natural World" :)
For me it works, nice job hidding the camera for reflecting there, there it is, but doesnt distract. Good experiment.
Thanks :) Hiding myself was tough as I did need to see the object :D

Cracking idea. Perhaps shorter grass would have been better? The grass in the foregound draws the eye from the ball. Also did you think about using the self timer? set the shot up press the button and leg it. Good imaginative photo though. 8)
It might be a good idea to catch yourself legging it. It will add a bit of interest in the reflection.
Try going from left to right also.
Go on, you know you want to Pete.:D
hmm dont want to encourage pete too much....
however......
zoom lens, tripod(low) sunset, timer and leg it...
im going to be changing my entry too, need to pick a suitable piccy though, lol
Very original idea Pete, I like it. A silhouette of someone standing/walking would look pretty cool too and give the image a focal point within a focal point if you know what I mean :)

I had thought of it but I didn't have it with me :) I think I will go out later in the week and try again.

I must admit when I was standing there deciding what to do next I did see myself as a tall ominous figure in the ball and thought "oooh" :)

Thats the new plan :D

Yer it should look cool. I'm not sure if the guy in it will say "The Natural World" or not, but either way it'll look good.
Thanks for the comments :)
I might go find my nice shiney balls and give them a polish :D
See what I can come up with.
Oooh missus, I can see I'm out on a limb here :(
First, you know I like your stuff but I can't/don't see that as natural world simply because you've so obviously got something totally manmade as the main subject. Then again it's maybe just too subtle for me, I usually tend to be take things quite literally. Having said that it's very original and well executed and may do well because of that :)
