Resizing in elements 8

Hi

Using elements 8 in anger for the first time today and cannot resize pics, might just me being dumb and not understanding.

I has CS2 before and when resizingpics you could do it by pixel size i.e 800x527 or what ever etc etc, but in elements it does not do it by pixel its onlt options are

Percent
Inches
CM
MM
Points
Picas
Columns

So getting back to my origional question how can I resize a pic so it will be aloud to be put on here at the 800 on the longest side. using one from the above list, i had to switch to CS2 to do this today,

I have elements 8 (for mac). I have just looked and when i go to image-resize
it gives me the option to resize by pixel or percent. Make sure you have the resample box at the bottom ticked to enable you access to that option.
