about £140ish normally isnt it..? FFordes have a couple in £149 and £159 so you would probably be saving a few quid, but can you be done for import duty?

Not too bad - I've seen them go for nearer £100 in the past.

The trouble is that these lenses are as rare as rocking-horse ****!

I sold mine for approx £105, with a filter ...

A wonderful price for a 1987 lens that was practically given away at the time.

From what I gather, the Mk2 is optically the same, just without the metal mount or distance scale.

You can buy the mark II on Amazon brand new for about £80.

Sorry guys, I should have made it quite clear I'd rather not settle for a Mk II.

The penny dropped for me about 15 minutes ago ;o)
I just assumed the Mk II would be an improvement on the Mk I but it seems not. Oh well, I have the mk II and am quite happy with it. Good luck with your search - might still be worth contacting Kerso to see if he can get hold of one.
