Been chucking it down all morning in sunny Southampton - no worries though 'cos of working at home. Rain stopped and the sun briefly came out. This is a pic of some sort of Japanese tree on the balcony (my wife would know the name - to me, it's "The Tree"). The thing is, is that I like this sort of thing but part of me does think it's a tad dull (as a photo and as a subject). Any ideas on how to improve this type of shot? I suppose having a macro lens and focusing tightly on a droplet would help?
Cheers

300D | 1/640 @ f/3.5 (a bit windy! ;D) | 50mm | RAW ISO 100
(PS:CS - crop/levels/USM then fade unsharp mask luminosity setting - idea nicked from this month's Outdoor Photography mag)
