Whitby - North York Moors 27th - 29th april

Dont know if any of you know this but there is a huge steam rail event on the weekend of the 27th til 29th of april. me and the mrs are going for the weekend to photograph the trains inc sir nigel gresely (aye im a bit of a rail photographer) while i havent planned anything if anyone is up that way that weekend and wants to do some shots or have a gettogether then we are both up for it.

Well, two great loves in our lives! Whitby, which we want to visit and have done for ages AND Steam..... could be a real 'goer' for us. We'll have to try sort something out..... :)

'Tis also Whitby Goth Weekend. The town will be HEAVING with goths - thousands of them - so booking anything like affordable accommodation in the town and for miles around is going to be very difficult unless you've already got that sorted.

Most of them will have spent quite lavishly on their finery, especially for the evening events, and are there to parade, see and be seen.

OOh might have to see if I can get to this, as it sounds right up my dark & twisted alley!
Wonder if theyre as accomodating as the peeps at the Venice masquerade?
