View Full Version : Lenspen or Sensorklear
After having a look at a couple of photos, Ive come to the conclusion that my sensor is overdue a cleaning.
Ive had a browse around, and came across a mention of using a lenspen in one of the threads.
Can you use the standard lenspen for the job, Or is buying the dedicated sensor cleaning pen a better option?
You need to go for the dedicated SensorKlean which has a much finer tip for getting into the corners of the sensor.
Just my opinion but having just bought and used the Sensorklean pen, I don't recommend it, took 5 to 6 times to get best results on sensor and then it wasn't perfect

I've had excellent results with a sensorKlear but there comes a point when you will need to do a wet clean (this can take several swabs to get good results also - then use the sensorKlear again.
Thought I had read a review inline with what I thought here it is :)

SensorKlear. If the same bits of gunk are still in the same place after a couple of tries with it, you'll need to do a wet clean, like Paul's just said. Of course, a good blow with a rocket blower can shift a lot of cack but can also just redistribute it around the mirror box.
