I removed the strap from my old tamrac bag, and attached it to my tripod (actually works pretty well), but the problem now is, when carrying it on my shoulder while walking, it swings against my ribs. I read that op tech do universal leg wraps, but can't find them for sale anywhere? Is there any other brand?

Optech call them leg wraps
They are listed on their main website, but I don't know if people like warehouse express do them too.
Manfrotto also do similar which they call leg warmers, these are listed on warehouse express site.

B+H do them, but they'd have to come from the states, clicky (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=details_accessories&A=details&Q=&sku=118304&is=REG&addedTroughValue=361998_REG&addedTroughType=accessory_detail)
B&Q- pipe lagging - that rubberized tubular stuff. :)

Can't believe how much they charge for some foam, haha.
I'll head down to B&Q when im better and have a look. Rubber pipe covering sounds a bit...hard though?
I think I know the stuff CT means. It's like a formed foam sleeve with a slit cut down one side to pop it over pipes for insulation?

Some of it's not exactly rubber, more a foam -like stuff?

If you cast your mind back, it's like the tubing they put on BMX's (but without the neon cover :D)

Go to B&Q, buy the cheap stuff and then fix it in place with loads of Gaffa tape - you do want to look like a real photographer don't you :p
