View Full Version : Port Sunlight in Infrared
I've been waiting for the life to return to Port Sunglight for some time now and since today was a sunny day I decided to go and see if it had. It had :D Annoyingly someone stuck a flag pole right in the middle of my original shot so thats just a bad shot now. Still I wandered around hoping to find something else and I did.

Are we allowed to show panoramics? Its about 1000px wide, so I've just linked to it for now :)
Canon 10D, 50mm, Hoya R72 IR Filter.
That's a great panoramic Pete. Lovely IR shot too. Max res for panoramics is 1000 pixels in the competition, so I assume it's the same for threads. Someone will tell you if it isn't.
Thanks :) There are days when I think "gah I need a 10mm wide angle lens" and others where the 50mm does a fantastic job. Sure it takes longer, but I think it looks fine :)
How many shots? Did you stitch 'em by hand?

6 shots stiched together with The Panorama Factory (http://www.panoramafactory.com/), single best program for panoramics.
That looks excellent. The freebie stitch programme which came with the 20D bundled software is a joke - it does a very rough low res stitch. This is two shots stitched by hand. I've cleaned the car since then.

Looks good. I can't see the blending at all.
