Im thinking of letting go my Nikon 17-35 F2.8 lens in 1-2 months time. Would love to know the market price of this lens like in the 2nd hand market?

Cheers

Check Ebay.

Two on there at the moment. One at £460 and one at £130.

Best thing to do is to watch what they sell for.

:agree: - Average on Ebay appears around £600 but can be as low as £400  - Dealers like Grays want iro £800 for mint ones
Why not try here? I have sold a few lenses here ... Paul ;)

Just out of interest, why are you thinking of selling, as this is one of the lenses I am currently looking at.

Try the advanced search option on ebay and click completed listings only to get a good idea what they have sold for on ebay.

onestop digital do this for £719, which is normally a good guide line for 2nd hand costs on ebay. I've seen lots of 2nd hand equipment in mint condition sold on ebay for 15% less than the prices on onestop.

Thanks guys for the helpful replies. Cheers :)

Hacker: Prevously, I was using it to shoot corporate events/weddings. But I've not been shooting much events now, hence I'm thinking of letting it go.
