A few shots from yesterday of all that remains of the West Pier in Brighton. It's a very ghostly scene, just sitting there in the water, derelict :(

When I looked I was trying to work out whether it was mono or not. Still looks very effective and my favourite of the bunch.

That is actually the least processed of the set. All I did was a seperate RAW conversion for the sky to bring out some colour, then merge the two together. I then tweaked the levels a little and adjusted the curves to bring out some contrast. Sharpened using usm. I have tried a mono conversion on the shot but it doesn't work for me, the natural hint of colour gives the shot an almost ghostly feel imo :shrug:

Yeah, I'd like to see a B&W version of 2, I think it might improve it
