Racing folk

Took these yesterday at Oulton Park, but I've put them here (rather than 'Transport') because I was actually interested in the people in pit lane rather then the cars. Hope thats OK?

Converted most to B&W because it somehow made them look more interesting (I suppose that doesn't say much for the original shots though does it? :shrug: )

on the B&W ones, I deliberately went for the more contrasty look. Just trying to get to grips with B&W really.

I'm sure you got some good shots cos Oulton seems like a circuit with a number of good places to shoot. Why not post some of yours?

I'm hopefully going to be back at Oulton for British Superbikes in May and if I go to the next GT race event at Donington Park I'll look out for your mate in the blue Ginetta for some pics, ok. :)

Hehe oh no..you were so SO lucky to be nice and sheltered in a warm place..was cold,wet,windy,nearly got maimed by one of mansell's kids..will be on ch4 sometime so tune in to have a good laugh at me :clap:
Oh and a bird crapped on my hand lol
The marshalls and photographers there are berloody fantasic though..had such a good time hearing their stories whilst all the crashing went on :)
Most of my pics are on another guys..1DMK2..why oh why did i say yes to using that!!! Never gonna be able to look at my 350D in the same light again :'(

Sounds like an interesting day you had. I thought it was gonna be sunny again over there :shrug: .

LOL :lol: , I see what you mean Robert, he does look a bit unreal. But I assume he was human, cos I asked him if it was ok to go in the garage and he said ok. Maybe he's one of them androids like 'Data' from Star Trek :D
