From a D100, i'm guessing you wouldn't be happy with anything less than a D90 or even D300 as the D3000 and D5000 won't auto-focus non AF-S lenses. But both the D90 and D300 are likely to cost more than your budget.
Would you buy second hand ? the D200 seems too be well liked.

What do you want to photograph?
Are all your lenses Af-S?
What to you desire in your next camera?

I got my D5000 with 18-55 kit lens for £478 if my memory serves me correctly :)
and from jessops - I haggled, and also got a UV filter, 8MB card, and something else too (and I've forgotten what!) for £520.
And it's a really smart camera - loads of stuff you can do with it, I'm very happy :) But make sure you get the AF-S lenses.

Well said. What do you want to do, that you can't do with your D100?
