is my older sister. She wanted a pic of her so I took this snap of her at Easter dinner yesterday. Just taken with the coolpix P4, not the D70. Not sure if I like it, what yall think?

I think it's cute! She looks a little aprehensive though, kind of 'shrugged in', perhaps she is a little shy of having her picture taken but I do think it's a nice pic of her. Hope she was pleased with it.

cute was the word that jumped to mind too. you havenīt PSīd it have you?

Would you take the mark on her nose away or leave it as itīs realistic/ natural?

just the b&w conversion and a tad soft focus in picasa. I would leave the mark on her nose cause it's more natural than a perfect complexion, that she doesn't have. :D

I like it but the focus seems to be on her nose and not on the eyes.

As you have the edit box ticked I thought I would have a go.

"Quick & Dirty" but I did this:
Patch tool to remove blemishes
Selective Gaussian Blur to soften skin
Selective curves to remove dark patches under eyes
Selective curves to darken lips
selective sharpen to highlight eyes/eyebrows and lashes
sepia toning

Hope this is OK with you :shrug:

Good initial shot.

Not bad HUN, but you've overcooked the eyes. They look polished.

Small file does not help as there are only about 8 pixels in those highlights. I hope you get the idea though.
