Was meant to have today off and was hoping to get out and take a few photographs. Got a call at the last minute and ended up working, but did manage to get this picture of me today!

Thought somebody might be interested.

erm......cool! What are the black dots that people get in the coloured bit sometimes, and when i look at something white then look left or right i get something like a dark shadow flick across my vision, almost like a bit of dirt in a small amount of water, im assuming ive got something in my eye?

The shadow you see is likely to be a piece of vitreous that has broken away from the rest and is floating within the eye. No problems with that, just get the optician to confirm thats what it is while at your next sight test.

i got ****in hundereds of em , some are like frayed bits of string to, but the optician says they are ' floaters ' and not to worry too much  ,
sometimes i can even focus on them, if i can get em to stay still, lol

i also got a broken blood vessel that has ' stained ' the retina ??

so all in all i aint in too good a shape for a photographer, lol

MP

If it makes you feel better, the circle of black dots in the top left of the pic are laser burns following a retinal tear :o
