Mind your eyes when you're looking straight into the sun won't you! (I sound like a nagging old hen...sorry!:) ) You've got some foreground interest in the textures of the sand which is good. I feel it needs some further interest; something for your eye to 'rest' on i.e. a boat, a rock or something, maybe a person in silhouette. (Probably none of those things for miles around so ignore me!) The horizon needs to be dead straight in these type of photos because it is so noticable if not. Hope you don't mind me commenting :)

Thanks for your comments, Kandy. I was a bit worried about looking directly at the sun and took the shot without really looking too closely (which is probably why the horizon is not straight!!).:)
