I don't mind shopping, as long as there are blokey shops (game, HMV, virgin) around.
The worst bit is when I'm out shopping with Sue, and we go to Evans, or some other girly clothes shops, and she goes to try something on, and I wait outside the changing rooms for her.
And WHERE do they put the changing rooms? in the lingerie section, so I have to stand there like a lemon along with the other slightly nervous looking blokes shuffling about on our feet trying not to look anywhere in particular.
We need a blokes section in these shops with some chairs, some magazines and some coffee.

100% agreed although you've missed the widescreen with skysports ;). Shopping isn't a past time, its punishment.

Lovely shot - you've captured all the emotion :)
Personally I loathe shopping - of any kind. You could create a 'bloke's area' brimming with coffee / magazines / a bar / hell, even the crumpiest of crumpett waitress service and I'd still be miserable just out of principle :lol:

The only shopping I like is camera shops, electrical shops, gadget shops, etc....
thats why I dont go shopping with other women.... cos I hate clothes shops, ornament shops,, yuk yuk and double yuk!!! :D :lol:
OH...and very perseptive of you, to get this shot....but methinks if youd have waited a moment longer you mightve lost your camera!! ;)

I hate shopping with a passion, it's a complete waste of my time and i do nothing but yawn and whinge from the minute i leave the house unless there is something in it for me (i'm not totally selfish you know).:D
I would rather dip my bits in acid than go shopping and i'm sure my other half would gladly fill and hold the bucket while i did it.
Great capture and exactly how I feel when shopping.

I too hate shopping and only go if I really have to.
Did all my Christmas shopping on the internet the other year and it was great just waiting for everything to be delivered.

The blurring could have been added better, if the lamp post is in focus, the ground around it should be too. This can be achieved very easily with layers and layer masks.
Agree with divine_madness ... for me the overall blur makes the photo distracting
A gradient layer mask applied to the blur would make the ground near his feet sharp and gradually knock the rest of the shot out of focus.
Would improve the shot immeasurably in my opinion.
