i did a search but didnt return any info
basically ive just bought lightroom 2 for mac, im trying to import a photo, i have gone to import from catalog, but when i try import iphoto its just grey'd out? how do i import photo's haha

Import from disk to find them on your hard drive. Import from device to get them off a memory card in a card reader etc.

catalog is to get them from another Lightroom catalog you have made previously so you don't need that.

Try importing from disk. I'm assuming the photos you want to import are on a hard drive or memory card?
