I used my polarizing filter as a neutral density filter and bracketed my exposure two stops over and two stops under the meters recommended f-stop.

I like it. I think if it was any brighter overall the sun would either be really clipped or disproportionately underbright. If ya get me. :thinking:

So you have put the two exposures together? if so in what software?

No, this is just one image. I have put two exposures together before when the only way to get a good exposure on both the sky and the ground was to put the camera on a tripod and expose seperately. In those cases I used Photoshop.
