poor pic but if you look at the abdomen of this hornet you will see a hole where something has eaten its way out after overwintering inside while the hornet itself was overwintering in the greenhouse, the amazing thing was the hornet was alive and able to fly despite its abdomen being just an empty shell.:shrug:
