Might be interested. Never been there yet been past it plenty of times and it's the prime Nat Trust place to go to.

What are they like with photogs though (in the gardens that is)? I understand NT sometimes likes to cause them grief over rights to shoot and ownership.

Saturday's are preferable.

Been to Stourhead a few times now, once on my own and twice with a group of fellow phototog friends... and have never had a problem I am glad to say

I am also getting some friends together on another forum and as it stands at the moment the date has been fixed for the 18th April...

Could do the 18th. I've been told Stourhead is especially good in the spring. Though with current weather it could be anything from snow to floods!

Ok.....

due to my niece's christening having to be re arranged to the 18th I now find myself well and truly kiboshed :bang::dummy:

I hope is not too late for anyone to change dates for this

I am also really sorry that this has happened but hopefully there is enough time to rearrange the date

How is the 1st/2nd of May for folks??

again my apologies....:'(

Good for me at the moment. Gives more time for others to come on board too. Might be better for spring flower conditions also as things are looking at little late this year (not that I know one end of a flower from the other, but even I can tell).

Weather doesn't look great for the 2nd. Metcheck even has sleet for the morning around there! Probably can't make the 2nd anyway as got a number things cropped up now over the weekend.

Can't do 16th and 17th is a work day so no go for me. Maybe better for a summer day then for Stourhead, or Autumn.

I'm up for a bit of Stourhead goodness. I live just up the road, so I'm trying to visit in every season. It looks pretty good at the moment; give it a couple of weeks until the bluebells are out and it will be amazing.
